The note

Stocks bounced on Monday, with the Nasdaq up 1.1% and the S&P 500 up 0.4% as chip and cloud names recovered part of last week's losses. The desk kept all ten holdings and the five bench names where the lineup put them: Nvidia's quantum-computing simulation and Lockheed's rocket production approval are welcome news but change neither case. Since yesterday only two add prices moved, Micron to below $1,090 and Reddit to below $179, keeping both at least 15% under our value.

What would change our mind: Lockheed reports this week and Alphabet, Amazon and Reddit soon after; a cash-flow miss against the desk's published checks, not a headline, is what would move a name.

What changed

No changes to the lineup.

By zone

Buy Zone

TSMC, Micron and Reddit stay in the Buy Zone: each trades at least a quarter below our value with its case unchanged tonight.

  • TSMC, Micron and Reddit trade 25% to 30% below our value
  • Adding: TSMC below $473 · Micron below $1,090 · Reddit below $179
  • A revenue miss against a company's own guide would change the call

Holding

Seven holdings keep their seats with no fresh money: each has a cash-flow or funding question its coming report will answer.

  • Seven holdings kept; none added to at today's prices
  • Alphabet and Amazon report next; capex against cash flow is the test
  • TransDigm is the one holding below our 15% entry margin

Bench

  • Buy below: DELL $450 · MSFT $490 · GEV $880 · LMT $460 · ASML $1,450
  • Dell sits $5 above its entry after Monday's rebound
  • ASML is the cheapest bench name, a quarter below our value
